Today Nintendo Direct message (which was at 6 am this morning) gave some very good results.
The Kanto Region Pokemon starters will be available to players. They will receive the starters from Professor Sycamore. Your Kalos Pokemon starters will be given to you when you meet your new friends.
I like that the original starters of the game will make their debut in the Pokemon X and Y. This is a great way to get fans of the old generations excited about the new one. The most important feature is now the final evolutions of the Kanto Starters all have mega evolutions.
Mega Charizard, Mega Venasaur, and Mega Blastosie. Charizard is already my pick. How they look mega evolved is epic. Game Freak also announced what you will need in order to make these Pokemon mega evolve.
CoroCoro is due to be released any day now but most likely next week. Hopefully we will find out what the final evolutions of the Kalos starters are. At least we know that their will be a fire/psychic starter.
